Sofia one of the first European capitals that offers to pay your parking tax with a sms. If you want to pay your parking tax you will have to send a text message to number 1302 if you are Mtel or Globul subscriber. Until now paying for the service happened only with buying parking tickets. Hour's stay price in the blue parking zones is BGN 1. Also the mobile operators add the price for the sent text message. After sending the sms you will get a reply that the payment was successful. Five minutes before the pre-paid hour elapses, you will receive a notification.
Currently the blue zones, where people can pay with SMS for parking are 3:
- Zone 1 includes the Alexander Nevski square, Moskovska Street in front of the Vassil Levski monument and Oborishte Street
- Zone 2 includes the Narodno Sabranie square and the side lane of the Tzar Osvoboditel Boulevard
- Zone 3 is at the Macedonia Square. |
